I have spent two years in a job where I felt unvalued, unappreciated, and under a significant amount of stress. I was working long hours and I was weary and was watching my joy fade away. I felt hopeless that it would ever change. One night I stayed up late with the Lord and had a pwerful encounter with him. I gave everything to Him and committed to choose joy , to see work as an opportunity to bring light to darkness and hope to the hopeless. I have him all of my frustration. I laid everything at His feet. THE NEXT DAY I had a converstaion with my boss where I was able to release everything. I was filled with hope and freedom. My role changed and the burdens have been lifted. I also received a promotion. He is so good. It has never been the same.
