Currently we are sending short-term teams
to two locations internationally, and one locally.

• Beirut, Lebanon
• Oklahoma City, OK (family trip)

Goals for Short Term Trips:

Participants gain a greater understanding of God’s sending heart and translate their understanding back into our community which helps build a sending ethos.

Participants help clarify and energize what missional house churches really are; missional church planting teams.

Participants encourage and strengthen the missional atmosphere of new house churches.

Participants extend and reproduce what God has given us here at NCC. If we have been given one “talent”, we must reproduce it because God wants more “talents” from us.

Participants grow in their personal kingdom experience by stretching themselves outside their comfort zone in kingdom activity, engaging in personal evangelism with the team, and stewarding the use of kingdom resources.

How Our Short Term Trips Produce Long-Term Fruit:

NCC leadership has taken responsibility for the places we go and has committed our resources to them for the long-term. It means that we have reduced the number of places we go so we go more consistently to a few places rather than going in many different directions with each season. It also means the leadership of NCC leadership takes responsibility for the strategy and plan to find new locations for long-term investment.
