For several years my husband has been unhappy with his job. We’ve been praying for a couple of years about what he could transition to doing instead of engineering. There were a couple of times we almost went forward with plans to quit his job and start a business of his own, but the Lord stopped us – it wasn’t the right timing. This year, Jesus opened a door for him to quit his current job and start a carpentry business. For me, someone who is naturally inclined to worry about finances and God’s provision, this has been a huge season of God’s proving ground for His love for us. He has provided lots of jobs for my husband!
