A guy that sits behind me at work had to go home because of pain in his back. He was gone for the rest of the day and the next. When he came back he wasn't his usual self, joking around with the other people in the office. He just sat silent with his headphones in trying not to interact with anyone. I asked him what was going on and he said that he was still in a lot of pain, but that he just got too bored sitting at home in pain so he decided to come to the office (yeah!). I told him that I have seen people healed when they are prayed for and I asked him if a friend and I could pray for him. He said yes and I went to get someone else in the office to pray with us. He described the pain and his condition and let us pray for him. My friend spoke some words about holding onto the promise that God heals and that when Jesus healed He always looked for faith. After we got done praying he didn't feel anything different. But we had prayed that ever hour he would feel better. After lunch I came back and he was talking to people in the office and interacting with everyone. I sat down to work and he said, "Hey, my back is feeling a lot better. This is weird." I smiled and laughed and told him how awesome it was. I saw him the next day and he was saying how weird it was that his back hasn't been hurting nearly as much. This has really provided me with opportunity to share with this guy and bless him in the name of Jesus!!
