I tend to worry to the point of obsessing, at times, about the future, politics, and all of that. This week I was having a conversation with two other believers about the future of the country and I was feeling myself get super down in spirit and worried. All of a sudden I heard the Holy Spirit say “Jesus is in control.” I stopped right there and stated that Jesus is in control to my two friends and they both stopped too, and agreed with me. It really gave all three of us perspective and gave me a real sense of peace. Since then there have been other times when a sense of the Lord’s authority has flooded my heart and driven away my fears. It’s awesome.
