Over the summer I had my first laughing-because-the-Lord-make-me-so-happy experience. As the semester has progressed, this has become more common in my life, to say the least. What is hilarious is that I can no longer contain it to church things. In my music history classes, the majority of the repertoire we are covering is ancient Christian hymns, masses, etc. Sometimes, when we are listening to ancient music, and I’m reading text in Latin or German, I get a Holy Spirit fit of laughter in the middle of class!
