My wife and I have had two stories of financial provision from Jesus over the past 8 months. The first came off the heels of me having to have surgery on my knee. Before surgery I had to sign my financial payment agreement with the hospital. They projected based on my insurance coverage that I would owe about $400 a month for the next year. I had no choice but to sign this hefty agreement. About two months after my surgery I received a bill from the hospital for $700. My first reaction was that my monthly agreement had turned out to be more than expected…bummer. I investigated the matter a bit further and it appeared that this might actually be the only bill they were going to send me. I called the hospital and sure enough, it was not a monthly bill, but my only bill! If you do the math, that is a savings of $4,100! Whoa, God is awesome!

This next story is more recent. My wife and I had our first child this past February-hooray! Along with that came a new round of hospital bills. I was on top of our potential expenses by keeping up online with our insurance. I had figured out our needs months ago and have been waiting for those particular bills. Then, wham, out of nowhere comes an unaccounted bill totaling around $3,700! I quickly get online to check this out; low and behold there is a spot on the website that showed this amount, and in a far right column are the words “NOT PAID.” I then go into business mode of thinking of all the people I need to contact to figure this situation out. Before doing this I decide I want to take one more look at this line item, so I hit the back button on the window. I now see that there is a new line item at the top of the page… it is highlighted in green, it is the same line item that had just informed me I was to pay this bill, except now the column that said “NOT PAID” says “PAID!!” I check to see why it is in green and the legend states that green means recently finalized! Praise God, he cares and provides! Take this story as yours, as Jesus for breakthrough in financial areas, He can do it in a matter of second!
