My dad and I have been really distanced for a few years. Our beliefs just don't really line up like they used to. And so I've had to learn to give our relationship to Papa God, and receive that Fatherly pride and affection from Him. But my dad has all of a sudden started telling me he loves me all the time, in passing, randomly, whatever. He started a text the other day asking me to pick up some dish soap, and ended it telling me how proud he is to be my dad. Papa God is restoring our relationship even after asking me to give it over!!!
