A friend and I were walking over to the cafeteria to have a lunch as we have done a couple times this semester and along the way Gerod said it was time to step up our game for the Lord at the Café. We both asked the Lord for images for a mini treasure hunt. I received the image of a guy wearing a flat bill ball cap or a trucker hat. Through a half hour of eating there I hadn’t seen a guy wearing a flat bill hat yet and Gerod had already found treasure for the Lord in a girl wearing a shirt with a mask on it and had prayed for them. I walked around the corner and spotted a guy, Steve, sitting by himself with headphones on. I sat next to him and tapped his shoulder, he took off his headphones and I introduced myself. I told Steve about treasure hunts a little bit and that Jesus wanted to release extra love and joy on him today through the image he gave me. I asked Steve if I could pray over him for anything specific, he told me that he was feeling alone and distraught as a freshman on campus and that was causing his studies to fall behind. I also asked if I could pray for his stepfather who is in Afghanistan currently. We prayed for Steve and he was encouraged with a great smile on his face. I left knowing that Steve had just received extra love and blessing from Jesus and told him that Jesus wanted him to know today that he is special to the Lord.
