My husband and I were paying off school debt that totaled $36,000 and someone unexpectedly wrote us a check in excess of that amount---which made us debt free! This has made me process debt in the spiritual context of sin and the debt-forgiveness that comes with salvation through Christ. I also feel like this is a testimony that this is the year of Jubilee!
