An Elbow Healed--A Friendship Healed

Within my ministry at a sorority there was a falling out between two people that I really care about. They were both hurt by one another, and in a sense the friendship they had was damaged. I have been caught up in the middle of this.

On Monday, I hit my elbow really hard, you know when you hit your funny bone it hurts really bad but then it goes away. Well, it definitely did not go away. It swelled up, bruised, and I could barely raise my hand to touch my nose! At the time I thought I had broken my arm! Well, then I had to leave for huddle so on my way in the car the Lord puts it in the back of my mind that this pain that I’m feeling in my elbow was not for me but for the friendship that had been broken. I was kind of like okay… and just moved on and didn’t really think about it. I had some people at huddle pray over it, but the pain did not go away at that moment. During the receiving time, the Lord put that thought back in my mind again. I just began praying that the Lord would wash away all the pain and hurt my two friends were feeling. That He would restore what was broken, and heal it and make it better than what it was before, and I just continued to pray. After I got done praying, I moved my arm and I was actually able to move it!! The pain was pretty much all gone! The Lord spoke to me promising that He would heal this friendship, it would be restored, and the hurt and pain would be washed away! God is amazing; He not only healed my arm, but promised to heal a friendship as well!

God has been speaking to me a lot through physical pains over this past year. Ever since I had horrible back pain in January and God put five people in my life that had back pain. All of them God healed, and when all of them were healed, God healed me! Kind of crazy, I know! God loves to speak to His children, in whatever way that looks like; I still have a lot to learn.
