Here in Beijing, some landlords don't tend to see that they have much responsibility to keep up their property. When our heater broke last week, our landlord tried to tell us that in the middle of winter it was our financial responsibility to replace a broken heater (Beijing gets pretty cold in the winter). My wife and I prayed on Friday night that God would bless us in the situation, and as of Saturday at 2:00 pm, he had come to our apartment and paid for the installation of a new heater. Based on our experience with our landlord throughout this last year, this is truly our God's work.
