My husband and I recently sold our house but had been unable to find a new house to move in to. We had moved out of our house and were planning to live with friends until we found a house. After looking at over 30 houses, we started to become very discouraged. We had planned a trip to Africa and were really hoping to find a house before we left. We wanted to go to Africa without the worry and stress of needing to find a house. Our house church one Sunday was talking about testimonies and their power and that next week we were all going to come with a story of how the Lord moved in our lives that week. My friend spoke up and shared that we needed a house before we left for Africa. She said that although finding a house in a week seemed impossible (especially when we felt like we had looked at every house on the market), we were all going to pray and believe for a house by the time that we came to house church the following week. My husband and I, along with our community, stood in faith that the Lord was going to provide a house for us. The following weekend, we went for a final look at houses before the weekend ended. Two hours before we walked into house church, we signed a contract on our new house! The Lord provided in his perfect timing.
